Prepare for what you prayed for

Posted by

Some days ago while scrolling through Instagram I came across this post:

Have you ever had a post stop you in your tracks? Well that is what happened to me. I had to stop and ponder on it, chew on it and then realize (or I should say ‘accept’) that for a while now, I have not been doing this.

You see, this goes beyond just believing that God would do what I may have prayed for – because I have been doing that. I have been working on trusting God more and believing that what I have asked for I will receive, or any situation that I am praying about will be sorted out.

What this post challenges me to do however is to believe and then PREPARE for what I have asked for.

But then anxiety and doubt rose up of course!! 🥴 “Seems a little risky ……..I mean…..what if it doesn’t happen?

If God is a promise keeping God, then I don’t have anything to worry about. If He is not a man that He should lie, then I can trust what He says. And if He is able to do more than we can imagine, then I can boldly prepare for something amazing!

The question is: Do I trust Him enough?

We all have to answer this question…..and be truthful! Because honestly, depending on the situation, I gotta say, sometimes I don’t think I trust God enough. But I really want to.

And I hope you do too 😊. So, no matter how big your prayer request may be, my challenge to us today is this:

1. Put it all at the feet of Jesus,

2. Believe,

I promise to share the testimony of what God does when it happens 😁. This feels so crazy yet I am excited at the same time lol. Please share any stories and experiences that you may have in the comments! I look forward to reading them 😊.

Have a blessed weekend everybody! ❤
